Casella participates in Tomres, a project of important scientific under the Horizon 2020 program.

The project “An innovative and integrated approach to increase the multiple and combined tolerance of stress in plants using tomato as a model”, in short TOMRES, is co-funded by the Horizon 2020 Program of the European Union.

The focus of the project is the tomato plant, which will be studied and analyzed by researchers, technicians and farmers from all countries, so that new eco-friendly cultivation systems can be devised and which have a very low impact on the natural resources of our planet.

The initiative will last 3 years and will involve 10 European countries, 25 partners and 200 technicians and researchers.
